“En Fuego” at Blue Line Arts Gallery
A Painting Born from Play

My first painting ever shown in a gallery sold before the show opened!! Thank you so much to Zachary Myers, the gallery coordinator at Blue Line Arts, Roseville for collecting “En Fuego”. This artwork was born out of pure play while mixing paint and water then soaking it up to see the effects. The act created a smokey look and from there I layered on colors intuitively and a city on fire was born. I danced and became completely immersed as the painting came to a close. “En Fuego” will always hold a special place in my heart and I’m so glad that it has found its home.
