ABOUT THE ARTIST
STEFANIE RAPOZA
I’m an abstract landscape painter based in Sacramento, California. For 15 years I have straddled the commercial and fine art world with my talents being sought out in both fields. My art often carries a bittersweet sadness, balanced with abundant hope and beauty.
Life is a mix of chaos and serenity, and it’s this blend that my paintings capture.
ROMANTIC ESCAPISM
My art helps you to experience contentment in your home by connecting you to your inner peace, encouraging presence, and helping you slow down. The landscapes I create feature familiar elements like cool water, mist in the air, and sweeping skies. And it’s these sensory experiences that come together to convey a message of peace and serenity.
OUTSIDE THE STUDIO
When I’m not painting in my studio, you can find me spending time with my wonderful husband and our two kids—our seven-year-old daughter and our three-year-old son. We often find joy in the simple moments, whether it’s a family walk, playing in the backyard, or the occasional trip to the coast - therapeutic and necessary.
In addition to family time, I maintain a consistent yoga practice, which has been invaluable to my mental health and brings me a similar inner peace to what I experience when painting.
