Purchasing, Framing, Shipping & Returns

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.
ORDERING
How is my payment handled?
Payments are taken by debit or credit card. We do not store any of your card information. Purchases can be made through Venmo when direct messaging the artist on Instagram in select cases or during flash sales.
Purchasing with a deposit
If you would like to purchase an original painting over $500 you are welcome to purchase with installments. A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable to hold your painting. The balance can be paid the following month or in 2 monthly payments of 25% each. Please contact us if you are interested in arranging this.
This is not a credit scheme, but an arrangement on trust, at no extra cost to you. Usual shipping costs and return policy will apply.
FRAMING
Do you offer framing options?
Absolutely! We understand the importance of presentation when it comes to art. To ensure your piece looks its best, we collaborate with a trusted framer based in Sacramento. We currently offer two colors of floater frames: white and natural wood. Please select your preference before the artwork is added to your cart.
Who covers the cost of framing?
The cost of framing is covered by the collector. We believe in offering flexibility, allowing you to select framing options that suit your taste and budget. Rest assured, we strive to provide high-quality framing solutions that enhance the beauty of your artwork.
How long does the framing process take?
The timeframe for framing can vary depending on factors such as the complexity of your chosen options and our framer's current workload. However, we strive to complete the framing process efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality. We'll keep you informed about the progress every step of the way.
What if I have additional questions about framing?
If you have any further questions or specific concerns regarding framing, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to assist you throughout the process and ensure that your artwork is beautifully presented to your satisfaction.
SHIPPING
I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my painting?
Original paintings will be safely packed and shipped within 5 working days. The exception is if the painting was newly created, in which case varnishing, finishing, and drying time will be added. These details will be communicated to you after purchasing.
Prints are produced at a high-quality, fine art printer in Sacramento, CA. Additional time will be needed for pickup and signing the print before shipping. Please allow for 7 days from print ordering to shipping date.
Is shipping included?
Shipping for all artwork is an additional cost calculated at checkout.
Can you ship internationally?
At this time I do not offer international shipping. Please contact me directly at stef@stefsartstudio.com if you are interested in a particular piece of art and you are overseas.
RETURNS
What if my painting arrives and I don’t like it?
I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so I offer a return agreement.
If a painting is not as you expect, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned I will refund your payment within 14 days.
What if my painting arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped according to shipping carrier guidelines. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days of receiving with photographs taken of the damage.
Can you ship internationally?
At this time I do not offer shipping internationally. Please contact me directly at stef@stefsartstudio.com if you are interested in a particular piece of art and you are overseas.
Can I return a digital download product?
Due to the digital nature of these products, returns are not accepted nor are refunds or exchanges. However, if you are having a problem with your download please reach out to me and I will help in any way that I can. I usually respond quickly unless I am out of office or on vacation – please refer to my homepage shop announcements for these times.
