The Commission Process

  1. Initial Inquiry/Consultation: The initial meeting works best if we speak on the phone or during a video call. We’ll discuss ideas, space, and budget.

  2. Proposal & Agreement: You will receive an initial quote outlining scope, timeline, materials and pricing.

  3. Concept Development & Design: Depending on the project, I will pull together ideas in combination with my own sketches or digital mockups. During this phase we will work together to choose paint colors and an overall style.

  4. Creation/Painting: In the case of a canvas painting, I will show you progress images along the way via text or email.

  5. Installation (for murals): In the case of a mural, I will arrive onsite with all materials and work to complete the art by our agreed deadline.

  6. Final Review & Satisfaction: We will review the final artwork together to ensure it is what you envisioned. Included in my contracts are two revisions/additions.
